Area of Focus: Hip, Knee & Lower Extremity
Demonstrates the technique beginning with an assessment of the rupture pattern of the injured ligament. Using a thermal device, the anatomic footprints of the AM and PL are marked on the femoral and tibial attachments. Then the PL femoral tunnel is marked and drilled, focusing on the knee flexion angle to ensure correct positioning. Next, both tibial tunnels are placed according to anatomic landmarks and thermal markings. Finally, the AM femoral tunnel is referenced off the PL femoral tunnel and drilled. Graft passage is completed for the PL bundle first, followed by the AM bundle. An EndoButton CL is used for femoral fixation, and a BioScrew and staple is used for tibial fixation.
