Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) is the official journal of the American College of Cardiology (ACC). The CD-ROM version for 1995 includes all fourteen 1995 issues of the journal, plus the abstracts presented at the annual scientific session, on one disc.
The CD-ROM version for 1996 will include all fourteen 1996 issues of the journal, the abstracts presented at the annual scientific session, five years of JACC (1991 -1995) abstracts, plus all six 1996 issues of the ACC Current journal Review.
JACC on CD-ROM features full text for all issues, as well as color and black and white illustrations, tables, and images. The search function allows basic full-text searches by subject, title, and author, as well as complex Boolean searches. A special Save Search feature allows the user to save the parameters of more complicated searches. Special features such as Notes and Bookmarks allow the user to personalize the CD. The CD is compatible with Microsoft Windows and Macintosh systems.
