Drug Interaction Facts
Facts & Comparisons
Pharmacology

This software program provides information about drug-drug interactions (including excipients) and drug-food interactions in an easy to use format. The program allows multiple drug searches to check for interactions with all components of a drug regimen. Interaction Significance Ratings provide relative ratings of the interacting pairs. The Discussion section for each interaction includes review and assessment of published data and a list of references. The data-base is indexed by generic drug names and by drug classes. Selected trade names are also included with cross-references to the generic equivalents. Compiled by Facts and Comparisons from up-to-date primary biomedical literature.

Drug Interaction FactsTM loose-leaf is a publication that provides information about drug-drug and drug-food interactions in a quick reference format. It covers more than 20,000 brand and generic drugs and more than 70 therapeutic classes. Also includes drug significance ratings.

Drug Interaction FactsTM is available in eFacts online and CD-ROM. Both programs allow the user to enter all of the drugs from a multi-drug regimen and includes excipient interactions.

The annual bound edition is a compilation of the previous years' loose-leaf. It is ideal for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, and students who don't have the need for frequent updates.
