Organized by therapeutic goals, the latest edition of this basic text and clinical reference has been fully revised to include chapters on clinical biofeedback therapy and electrical stimulation for urogenital dysfunction. Neuromuscular stimulation has been expanded into three chapters: neuromuscular stimulation for muscle strengthening, neuromuscular stimulation for control of posture and movement, and electrical stimulation of denervated skeletal muscle. Current standards in electrotherapy terminology as defined by APTA are used throughout the text.
